Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge

Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is an exceptionally well run lodge set within an 8,000 hectare private concession in the south east of the world renowned wilderness of the Okavango Delta. The lodge is nestled amongst palm and fig trees overlooking a sparkling waterway and the floodplains beyond.

The lodge has just eight thatched cottages built on raised decks, providing a delightful combination of authenticity and comfort, as well as superb views over the surrounding landscape. Each cottage has an adjoining bathroom including an open air shower. The furnishings are made of natural materials including wood, leather and silk, and are of earthy colors. The rooms have gauze windows to maximize views of the forest. The lodge also offers spacious, comfortable areas for relaxing, a sundeck around the swimming pool, and an outside fireplace to keep you warm while star gazing at night.

The lodge offers day and night vehicle based game drives, guided bush walks and mokoro (traditional dug out canoe) trips through the small waterways of the Okavango and motor boat cruises along the larger channels.
