Chitabe Camp

Chitabe Camp sits on an island close to the Moremi Game Reserve in the south-east of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. There are a variety of habitats in the area including waterways, marshlands, open grassy areas and plains which are seasonally flooded. There is good wildlife here including elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, cheetah and wild dog. There are also zebra and antelopes such as reedbuck, red lechwe and impala.
Accommodation & Facilities
Chitabe Camp has just eight large walk-in ‘Meru’ tents with adjoining bathrooms all with both indoor and outdoor showers. The tents and the central dining area are set on raised wooden decks and are linked by timber walkways offering guests wonderful views across the surrounding floodplains.
Wildlife & Activities
Chitabe Camp offers night and day game drives, guided bush walks, and fantastic bird watching. The camp also has a plunge pool.
