Vumbura Plains

Vumbura Plains is a luxury camp located on the Moremi Game Reserve's northern boundary, close to the Okavango Delta's peripheral dry savannah areas.

Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodations are split between into two separate camps, Vumbura North and Vumbura South. Both have luxury tented rooms with private facilities and a plunge pool. The main dining area and lounge are nestled among indigenous trees with wonderful views out across the floodplain. There is also a swimming pool at Vumbura Plains.

Wildlife & Activities
Game activities at the camps include expert guided night and day drives in open 4x4 Land Rovers and walking safaris, mokoro (dug-out canoes) and conventional boat trips to view the water-based wildlife. The landscape around Vumbura hosts both wetland and savannah animal species. The bird watching in this area of Moremi is excellent, and fishing trips are popular.
