Botswana Explorer

Conservation Corporation Africa operates the Botswana Explorer and describes it as a "pioneer safari"; their more simple style of camping trip. The expedition operates between Maun and Victoria Falls and lasts ten days, visiting the Okavango Delta, the Moremi Wildlife Reserve and Chobe National Park. 

Accommodation & Facilities
The safari travels as a serviced mobile camp, where the staff erects the tents and cooks meals for the guests. There are a maximum of seven participants. The safari traverses the varied landscapes of the Chobe National Park, the Okavango Delta, and the Moremi Game Reserve in specially customized 4x4 safari vehicles, all in the company of an expert guide. Botswana Explorer itineraries stop overnight at exclusive, private sites for eight nights and spend the last nights at a Victoria Falls lodge.

Wildlife & Activities
Chobe National Park is famous for its elephant population; you will be able to spend many hours watching huge herds wandering in and around the waters of the Chobe River. The landscape in Northern Chobe is particularly beautiful with magnificent sunsets and an enormous variety of bird and animal species. To the Okavango Delta you will travel by moroko (dug out canoe) to explore the islands and crystal clear channels of this wondrous area and follow guided wildlife walks on the islands. The safari also visits the Savuti reserve where huge animal concentrations are attracted at certain times of the year; this is a particularly good place to view lion and other predators all year round. You will also visit Moremi, acknowledged as Africa's most beautiful wildlife sanctuary, where you will have the chance for several game drives.
