Letaka Safaris

Letaka Safaris is run by Grant and Brent Reed, brothers who have been brought up here and therefore know and understand the area and its wildlife extremely well. If you love Africa and the truly wild regions, then your ideal safari is probably a small private camp away from the well trodden tourist routes. You can stay in remote areas in your own exclusive camp, with a private guide. Every trip is designed around your interests, the season of travel and the length of time you have available. The areas visited will be remote, harsh and starkly beautiful

Your camp is set up in remote exclusive camping areas within the wildlife reserves. When travelling between camping areas, your camp is taken down and re-erected in the new site on arrival. Accommodation is in traditional and spacious East African tents, with camp beds and duvets. Each tent has an ensuite toilet, and the shower tent will be erected nearby. Your guide and camp staff will travel with you between camp. Each meal will be a special experience, imagine lunch sheltering under the shady bough of a spreading acacia or dinner beneath the star filled African sky.

Your game viewing is guided by the most experienced guides. Educational guiding will leave guests with a sense of fulfillment and achievement. Walking, game drives and boat trips will all be possible, and offer guests an excellent variety of game viewing. Mobile safaris are an excellent choice for those who want a trip where expert and congenial guiding is important and where privacy and interesting game viewing take priority.
