Mashatu Main Camp
Mashatu Game Reserve is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary situated at the confluence of the Shashe and Limpopo rivers in the Northern Tuli area of Botswana. The area is rich in both game and bird life. Mashatu Main Camp is located in the remote northern area of the reserve and comprises of 14 authentically decorated suites. Each suite has an adjoining bathroom and a living area from which you can watch the surrounding bush for game within air-conditioned comfort. There is also a pool, deck, boma, bar, a living area and a dining area. The area is famous for elephants which live in large herds. There are also lion, leopard, zebra, giraffe, wild dog as well as many plains antelope. As well as traditional vehicle based game viewing activities, guests can (at an extra cost) take guided bush walks, mountain bike, go out with a specialist in elephants or predators or explore some of the ancient archaeological sites in the area.
