Meno a Kwena
Meno a
Kwena is named after a deep stretch of the Boteti
River in Central
Botswana. This area was once inhabited by crocodile and hippo amid
a garden of water lilies and the name literally translated means "Tooth of the
Crocodile." The camp is on the western boundary of the Makgadikgadi Pans Game
Reserve. Camp accommodations at Meno a Kwena are in twin bedded mini meru walk-in tents with open air bucket showers and flush toilets. The authentic safari meals are specially prepared by your hosts for the barbecue or "tin box oven" and cooked over an open fire. The open Kalahari night skies are filled with stars at night and are alive with the traffic of riverine birds during daylight hours. Meno a Kwena is situated in an excellent area for game viewing, watching the wildlife visiting the waterhole, bird watching, or simply relaxing in a sublimely peaceful atmosphere.
