Pom Pom Camp
Pom Pom Camp is situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, west of the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is shadowed by African mangosteen trees and overlooks an attractive lagoon. There are nine spacious, classically designed tents, comfortably furnished with adjoining roofless bathrooms. Pom Pom Camp has the ambience and style of an old safari camp. Guests at Pom Pom Camp can choose game drives, nature walks, mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions and fishing trips. Night drives are also available. In the deeper lagoons of the Okavango Delta, there are crocodile and hippo. Birding is also good in the area, with the African fish eagle, Pell's fishing owl and the giant eagle owl often seen around the lagoon.
