Savuti Elephant Camp

Savuti Elephant Camp is located in the Chobe National Park in Northern Botswana; this is the arid desert of the Kalahari Sandvelt. Rainfall is extremely rare here and thus water is extremely precious, but the dry Savuti Channel teams with some of Africa's most impressive wildlife, including elephant, which reign supreme.

Accommodation & Facilities
The accommodations at Savuti Elephant Camp are in luxury tents with private facilities, air-conditioning and heating. The tents have their own private viewing decks, allowing guests to relax in comfort with the knowledge that each day here in elephant country will bring exciting, and unforgettable sights and experiences.

Wildlife & Activities
The wildlife viewing at Savuti Elephant Camp is excellent, and experienced guides can take vehicles fairly close to herds of zebra, giraffe and impala - however the elephants are the stars here. Game viewing is in customized 4x4 vehicles but since this is a national park night drives are not allowed. Excursions to visit early Bushman rock paintings are available, or alternatively, guests can enjoy excellent birdwatching from the purpose built decks at the camp.
