Xakanaxa Camp

Xakanaxa Camp is situated in the Moremi Game Reserve in the heart of the Okavango Delta. This is a lush, wetland area with abundant year-round game viewing. Access is usually from Maun, either by light aircraft though the journey can also be undertaken by road.

Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodations are in twelve large tents on raised wooden platforms. The tents are fully equipped and tastefully furnished with private facilities. Xakanaxa Camp has recently undergone a renovation program and the standards are high. The central dining room, fire deck, bars, and pool all have wonderful views over the Okavango waterways.

Wildlife & Activities
Xakanaxa offers both land and water based activities and wildlife watching safaris.  This is one of the few lodges in Moremi that is able to offer year-round boating trips.  Since the camp is within the Moremi Game Reserve walking safaris are not possible. Activities are led by professional, conservation-aware guides. The bird watching in the area is excellent and there is the chance to do some in season fishing.
