Elsa's Private House in Meru is a stylish, exclusive hideaway set slightly apart from the lodge Elsa's Kopje, and built very near to George Adamson's original campsite in the heart of Meru National Park in Kenya. The lodge is named after the orphaned lioness reared by George and Joy Adamson and then released into the wild, and on whom the film "Born Free" was based.
The private house at Elsa's has one double and one twin room, both with en-suite bathrooms. There is a spacious living and dining area, leading outside to its own private swimming pool. Guests can choose to eat meals in the privacy of the house or, in the main dining area of Elsa's Kopje lodge.
Activities on offer at Elsa's include day and night game drives, bush walks, bush meals, sundowners, Tana River excursions, line fishing and massage.
