Elsa's Private House
Elsa's Private House is an exclusive, stylish hideaway in the Meru National Park, set slightly apart from the lodge at Elsa's Kopje. The lodge is named after the orphaned lioness, star of the film "Born-Free," who was reared by Joy and George Adamson before being released back into the wild. The private house at Elsa's has been built very close to the Adamson's original Meru camp and has a double and a twin room, both with adjoining bathrooms. The spacious living and dining area opens out onto a private swimming pool. Guests have the choice of dining either in the privacy of the house or in the main dining area of the nearby lodge. Activities offered at Elsa's include day and night game drives, guided bush walks, bush meals, sundowners, Tana River excursions, line fishing and massage.
