Hemingways         
  
Hemingways is set in a beautiful cove on a five mile white sandy beach at Watamu near Malindi. This owner-managed hotel offers comfortable, well appointed rooms just a few yards from the beach, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. All the rooms have adjoining bathrooms, fans and air-conditioning. There are two pools, a restaurant, and a well-stocked bar. Watamu Marine Park is the oldest in Eastern Africa and is one of the finest in Kenya, offering excellent scuba diving, wind surfing, sailing and big game fishing. The nearby tidal creek is a paradise for birdwatchers and also offers line fishing and sunset dhow trips. Within easy reach of Hemingways is the historic town of Malindi, offering colorful markets and specialty restaurants.
