Norfolk Hotel 
  
The Norfolk Hotel, in central Nairobi, is an institution not to be missed. Only a thirty-five minute drive from the airport, the Norfolk has figured prominently in Kenya’s history. Important visitors include the Von Blixens, Lord Baden-Powell, Theodore Roosevelt, the Earl of Warwick, and Lord and Lady Cranworth to name a few. The Lord Delamere terrace at the Norfolk Hotel is the place to be seen in modern Nairobi.
