Sosian

Sosian is overlooked by the snowcapped Mount Kenya amid stunning scenery in the north of the country. This old ranch house is on a 24,000-acre working cattle ranch on the Laikipia plateau. The ranch has a swimming pool, tennis court and billiard room. Guest accommodation consists of seven double cottages in the grounds.

Accommodation & Facilities
Guests are encouraged to participate in the daily activities on the ranch such as rounding up and dipping the cattle. Other activities available at Sosian include horseback riding, fishing, camel safaris, day and night game drives and guided bird watching. A popular pastime is swimming beneath spectacular waterfalls on the Euaso Narok River.

Wildlife & Activities
With more than 250 recorded species of birds and abundant game, including four of the big five, the wildlife viewing at Sosian is wonderful.  You might even spot such rare species as Jackson's hartebeest, Grevy's zebra or reticulated giraffe.
