Tsara Camp
Tsara Camp is set in an isolated area in Southern Madagascar, south of Tana and close to the Andringitra National Park. It is about fifteen miles from the main route between Tana and Tulear, along a rough track - definitely 4x4 territory. Once at the camp though the views towards the Andringitra Massif are definitely worth the bumpy ride.
Accommodation & Facilities
Accommodations at Tsara Camp are in ten roomy tents with wooden floors and a private shower and toilet to the rear. The tents are arranged around a central dining tent which is shaded by thatched roofs. The meals are fairly simple local dishes.
Wildlife & Activities
The main activity at Tsara Camp is walking, there are two small forested areas close to the camp, and both provide interesting two to three hour walks. All day or multi-day walks can also be arranged, though these will require an early start in the hotter months.
