Lujeri Lodge and Lujeri Guest House

Lujeri Tea Estate is located near to the base of Mt Mulanje in the Mulanje region, around an hour and a half south east of Blantyre City. Lujeri boasts beautiful scenery and is one of the oldest colonial tea estates in the area.

Both the lodge and guest house have stunning views over the tea estate and of the Mulanje Massif. The main lodge has four bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, while the guest house has four bedrooms with separate bathrooms. The rooms are simple in design and are all equipped with bed linen, blankets, pillows, towels and basic mosquito nets. There is a swimming pool at the lodge and at the guest house.

There are a number of fantastic walking routes on offer around the estate or alternatively you can drive to the base of Mt Mulanje where you can explore the foothills. There are some really great spots to swim on the estate including the Blue Lagoon, Mbiya pools, and Hydro on the Minunu path. From Monday to Saturday it is also possible to take a tour of the tea factory to find out more about the process of drying the tea leaves.
