Pumulani Lodge
With a sandy beach on the lakeshore of Lake Malawi close to Cape Maclear, Pumulani Lodge climbs up the hillside overlooking the lake, with rooms blending into the surrounding vegetation. The views from the main building of the lodge and swimming pool make the climb worthwhile.
Accommodation & Facilities
Pumulani Lodge has ten spacious villas, each with a large lounge, separate bedroom and ensuite bathroom. One larger villa has two bedrooms, making it ideal for families. All rooms have decks with umbrellas and most offer stunning views across Lake Malawi. Breakfast and dinner are served in the spacious dining room
with breathtaking views down to the lake below, while lunch can be
taken either at the main dining area or in the shady grounds of the
beach restaurant. There are bars both on the beach and at the main area.
Wildlife & Activities
Pumulani is a great place to enjoy Lake Malawi's many watersports, including water-skiing and wake boarding, trips out on the lodge’s wooden dhow, snorkeling and kayaking. Diving can be arranged locally, and guided bird watching and village visits can also be arranged.
