The Oberoi is located in 20 acres of beautiful sub-tropical gardens on the northwest coast of the island. Fronting onto the ocean, there are fantastic views from the many terrace pavilions overlooking volcanic mountains, golden beaches, and turquoise seas.
There are only 76 luxurious villas and terrace pavilions. Most of the villas have a private pool and an open-air dining pavilion. All the rooms are beautifully decorated, with natural wooden furniture and subtle colour schemes. The Oberoi has two swimming pools, both with a stunning location overlooking the ocean. There is an excellent open-air dining room, and a beach-front bar set amongst an 18th century ruin.
Guests can relax on the beach, or by the pool, and there is also a health spa and beauty salon where a wide range of treatments are available. There are also tennis courts and a nearby golf course. A variety of watersports are available, including windsurfing, water skiing, sailing, diving and deep sea fishing.
