The Residence
The Residence is a graceful colonial style hotel set on one of the best beaches on the east coast of Mauritius approximately an hour's drive from the airport.
Its stunning public areas are complemented by truly excellent service. Its 163 stylish rooms and suites are large, with attractive bathrooms and dressing rooms. The hotel has several restaurants, a good spa and three tennis courts. The Residence bar has classy entertainment after dinner in the evenings encouraging you to stay and enjoy a night-cap to the accompaniment of live jazz or blues. There is a children's club and a fleet of local nannies/babysitters for younger children and evening care.
If guests tire of sitting on the beach or by the pools, a good selection of watersports are available and a number of golf courses are close by.
