Marlin Lodge
Marlin Lodge is located on Benguerra Island, and forms part of Mozambique's Bazaruto Archipelago, which was declared a National Marine Park in 1971. With three freshwater lakes, it is home to crocodiles and many species of birds. The Lodge streches along the beautiful beach of Flamingo Bay and offers guests a unique unspoilt island experience. Accommodations at Marlin Lodge are in stylish wooden chalets, a mixture of elegance and African island beauty. There are magnificent views across the gleaming white beach and a tidal sand spit from the chalets, and each has a patio with a walkway leading down to the water's edge. The lodge has a large lounge area and central dining room, there is also a swimming pool set amongst ilala and coconut palms. Marlin Lodge is ideal for simply relaxing on the beach or around the pool and there are excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities on the nearby pristine two mile reef. Fishing is available either from the beach or boat, and the clear shallow waters are ideal for parasailing and water-skiing.
