Marlin Lodge
Marlin Lodge is located in the Bazaruto archipelago on Benguerra Island, just off the Mozambique coast. This small island is just seven miles long by about three miles wide and has three freshwater lakes which are home to crocodiles and many species of birds; in 1971 it was declared a national park. The lodge is set on the beautiful Flamingo Bay beach. Accommodations at Marlin Lodge are in stylish wooden chalets, a mixture of elegance and African island beauty. There are magnificent views across the gleaming white beach and a tidal sand spit from the chalets, and each has a patio with a walkway leading down to the water's edge. The lodge has a large lounge area and central dining room, there is also a swimming pool set amongst ilala and coconut palms. Marlin Lodge is ideal for simply relaxing on the beach or around the pool and there are excellent diving and snorkeling opportunities. Fishing is available either from the beach or boat, and the clear shallow waters are ideal for parasailing and water-skiing.
