Polana Hotel 
  
The Polana Hotel is centrally located in Maputo the capital city of Mozambique, just fifteen minutes by road from the airport. The imposing old building was built over 80 years ago and still reflects some of its original grandeur as well as having all the facilities and features of a modern hotel. Guest rooms in the Polana Hotel's old building all have adjoining bathrooms, telephones, TV and air-conditioning; they are all slightly differently appointed, depending on their position in the building. The rooms in the newer Polana del Mare building, just a short walk down towards the sea, have the same facilities and are nicely decorated with African themes. The Polana Hotel has a large open dining room overlooking the lovely swimming pool, a well-stocked bar and a patisserie serving coffee and pastries throughout the day.
