The Etosha National Park in Northern Namibia is one of the world's finest game parks. Covering 22 270 square kilometres, Etosha is famed for its numerous waterholes where a wide diversity of game can be seen. The most spectacular feature of the park is the vast, shallow salt pan, which lies at its centre, filling with water during the rainy season attracting a variety of wildlife and numerous species of birdlife.

Arguably one of the world’s best game parks, The Etosha National Park is situated in northern Namibia. It is famed for its many waterfalls and the wide range of game that can be seen over its 54 acres. The highlight of the park is the huge, shallow salt pan at its center; this fills with water over the rainy season and attracts a wide variety of animals and birdlife. There are three camps for visitors who wish to stay in the park, offering a range of accommodations.

At the park’s western entrance lies Okaukuejo, this is the oldest and probably the most popular camp. Guests are provided with plenty of entertainment by the vast range of game which visits the floodlit waterhole. This gives a rare opportunity to view black rhino and elephant close by.

On the eastern side of the park lies Namutoni, named after the German fort around which it is built. Sunrise and sunset are announced by a bugler from the top watch tower, in remembrance of the camp’s military past.

The newest camp in the park is Halali, situated in the northeast corner, halfway between Okaukuejo and Namutoni. Some of the most popular waterholes in Etosha surround this camp. All three camps have a swimming pool, shop, restaurant and kiosk, and a filling station. The accommodations varies, from luxury bungalows to camping, and caravan sites.
