The Ultimate African Safari Solution
With time spent living and working in Africa and a combined total of more than 100 years planning
African vacations, our expert consultants combine
first-hand knowledge
with your African dreams to create a perfect safari.
Tailor Made Safari Vacations
At Aardvark Safaris, no two holidays are alike. We listen to your needs and desires rather than imposing
our own ideas. Your ultimate safari will be unique to you, a product of our expertise and your wishes.
We offer everything from the finest in safari luxury to remote and rustic bush experiences. Enjoy
traditional game drives with Africa’s best guides or
canoe
down the Lower Zambezi River, trek the last
mountain gorillas
in
Rwanda and
Uganda,
gallop on horseback
in
Botswana’s
Okavango Delta, enjoy the hospitality of
local tribespeople,
climb Kilimanjaro, walk with
Samburu warriors
in
Kenya, and fly high over
Namibia’s
Skeleton Coast. We turn imagination into reality. That’s why our clients come back again and again,
eager to explore the continent that has captured their hearts.
A honeymoon is perhaps the most important vacation you'll ever
plan. Let us arrange a safari that combines excitement, adventure and romance: our travel plans work
on every level and
budget.
At Aardvark, many of us have children of our own, and we have all
taken them to Africa: whether on safari in the bush, family vacations in
Indian Ocean islands
or journeys into the wilds of
Madagascar
. We have the knowledge and experience to plan a trip to suit
children of all ages.
We create ‘Quality Vacations Honestly Priced’. See what we mean on our
Aardvark Guarantee page and see if our clients agree on our
Testimonials page.
We know Africa, from north to south. We have walked with the
Masai and tracked lion in Luangwa. We have dined at top Cape Town restaurants and cooked our own food
over camp-fires in the
Okavango. We've rolled out “star beds” in
Loisaba
and stayed in
tree houses in
South Africa. Whether you're an
single traveler, couple,
family
or group, we can help you plan an African vacation and ensure you enjoy an authentic safari in complete
confidence and security.

Ride with Lucinda Green through Botswana's extraordinary Makgadikgadi Salt Pans
We have teamed up with Lucinda Green, former world champion eventer and six time Badminton
winner to host a stunning riding safari across Botswana’s Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in December. Crossing
this truly exceptional landscape with its vast pans, sprawling woodlands and grassy islands at the
height of the migration season – the area is awash with zebra, wildebeest, hartebeest and ostrich
and the attendant predators – will be an unforgettable riding experience. Leaving the horses for the
occasional game drive you can track the elusive brown hyena and search for meerkat families, one of
the Kalahari’s most fascinating inhabitants. Until now riding in Botswana has been in the watery paradise
that is the Okavango Delta but this holiday opens up a whole new world of habitat and scenery and
is totally different to anything currently available.

Rekero – great guides and a new camp
It’s been a busy summer for
Rekero
, one of our favorite camps in
Kenya. Disney’s movie ‘African Cats’ was filmed on their
doorstep and the camp provided spotters, guides and logistical
support for the production. Adding to the excitement, Rekero
recently received the Good Safari Guide Award for the Best
Guiding Team in Africa and now that same team has opened
Naboisho Camp offering guests the chance to explore a pristine
part of the Masai Mara in the company of top guides, including
BBC presenter Jackson Looseyia.
