Little Kulala
Little Kulala is set on the dry Auab River bed in Namibia, to the western side of the Kulala Wilderness Reserve. From its prime location there are magnificent views of the famous red dunes of Sossusvlei to the west and the rugged Namib Mountains to the north and east. The camp comprises 12 thatch and glass chalets on elevated decks. Each has ensuite facilities and a small plunge pool on the private outside deck area, where there is also a day lounge. An external staircase leads to a flat rooftop that is ideal for stargazing or as somewhere to sleep under the stars. The main area has a lounge, dining room, bar and curio shop. There is also a swimming pool and a wine cellar well stocked with vintage wines. Activities at Little Kulala are varied and include full day game drives with an early morning start to the spectacular Sossusvlei dunes, nature drives with incredible views, to see desert game and smaller desert fauna and flora. Walks and day trips into the Namib-Naukluft Mountains are also available. Scenic flights and ballooning can be arranged at an extra cost.
