Ongava Tented Camp
Namibia’s Ongava Game Reserve neighbors Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s largest game reserves, and is almost the size of Switzerland. The camp can accommodate up to 16 guests in luxury tents, each of which is equipped with private bathroom facilities and their own veranda which overlooks the waterhole. Dinner at Ongava is served around a campfire or by the pool. Game viewing activities from Ongava Tented Camp take place in the morning in the Etosha National Park and afternoons are spent in the reserve. Nighttime walks and drives and hides can also be arranged. There is a wide variety of game for visitors to see, including lion, leopard, elephant, black rhino, gemsbok, hartebeest and springbok. The waterholes near the camp provide opportunities for bird watching, with ostrich, raptors and pygmy falcon all common. Tracking rhino on foot is a major attraction here.
