Serra Cafema
In the far north-west of Namibia, Serra Cafema is located on the banks of the Kunene River and is surrounded by ancient Albida trees. This camp is one of the most remote in southern Africa and can only be reached by air. There are eight beautiful canvas and thatch tents at Serra Cafema, elevated on wooden platforms with private bathroom facilities. There is a lounge, bar, and pool in the main area. Visitors to Serra Cafema have the chance to explore one of the world’s driest deserts on a Land Rover vehicle or on ATV trips into the sand dunes. Springbok, ostrich and oryx may be seen and the bird and river life can be viewed by taking a boat trip.
