Wolwedans Dune Camp

 

Wolwedans Dune Camp is set in the heart of the NamibRand Nature reserve and about an hour and a half by vehicle from the famous Sossusvlei sand dunes.

This lovely camp is set on the edge of a dune and has wonderful views over the valley below and distant Losberg Mountains. Twelve guests are accommodated in comfortable tents which are pitched on wooden platforms raised above the sand. Outside the tents, but on the same platform, is a spacious veranda where you can sleep out under the stars. There is a private bathroom just a few steps from the tent. In the main building, there is a dining room and open air bar.

One of the highlights of a stay here is to go on a full day desert drive deep into the heart of the reserve. Guests can also take guided walks closer to camp and enjoy picnics on the dunes. Scenic balloon flights can be arranged at an additional cost.
