Hotel des Mille Collines
Situated in the center of Rwanda’s capital, Kigali, in a large tropical garden, the four star Hotel des Mille Collines is a perfect base for exploring the lively city. There is a moving genocide memorial close the hotel, which pays tribute to the manager of the hotel during the genocide, whose story has been immortalized in the film, “Hotel Rwanda.” Hotel des Milles Collines offers all that you would expect from modern, four star accommodations. There are 112 comfortable rooms, all with in-suite facilities, a swimming pool, and two lively bars. The restaurant on the top floor offers fantastic views across the town.
