Desroches Island Resort
Desroches Island is around 150 miles south west of Mahé and is the largest island of the Amirantes Group in the Seychelles. It is three and a half miles long by half a mile wide and surrounded by coral reefs and peaceful, shallow waters. The resort on Desroches Island consists of 20 spacious junior suites, all very close to the beach, decorated subtly with a mixture of traditional island styles with modern touches. There are two restaurants; one is on the beach, a bar and a swimming pool. Guests can take part in fishing and snorkeling, and divers can explore the fascinating “Desroches Drop.” Sailing, wind-surfing, canoeing and tennis are all available, and guests have the opportunity to explore the island on bicycles.
