North Island         
  
Secluded North Island had been uninhabited for over 30 years before some of the world leaders in eco-tourism invested in the island, making it a haven for both sensitive travellers and wildlife. North Island has 12 private, self-contained villas, all built from local materials. Each villa has a bedroom, huge adjoining bathroom, outside shower, veranda and even its own, private pool. The main pool is built into the granite on the west side of the island, with a secluded bar. There is also a main dining area, lounge, gym, spa and a library. North Island can be explored either on foot, by bike or motorized buggy. There are a range of activities available, including sea kayaking, snorkeling and diving. Guests can also take excursions to other nearby islands or go fly fishing.
