Bushmans Kloof
Bushman's Kloof is situated between the Cederberg Mountains and the vast plains of the Great Karoo in South Africa's Western Cape. Set in a landscape of open plains, deep ravines, spectacular waterfalls and prehistoric rock formations, Bushman's Kloof has been declared a South African Heritage site.
All of the 16 suites or rooms have en-suite facilities and a private terrace overlooking this beautiful area. Each is stylishly decorated, and exudes a feeling of calm and tranquillity. The homestead offers a lounge, library, billiard room, wine cellar and a dining room. There is also a sauna and swimming pools for guests to enjoy.
While staying at Bushman's Kloof, guided rock art walks, botanical tours, mountain biking, river and nature walks, as well as mountain hikes can be organised. Game drives, both night and day are also available, and the birding in the area is good.
