Constantia Stables

Constantia Stables is located just fifteen minutes from the center of the beautiful city of Cape Town; this pretty, well run guest house is owned and hosted by Rick and Lola Bartlett, who are a mine of local information.

The guest bedrooms and main area are in a converted stable block, and there are two cottages in the well established garden. Sumptuous breakfasts are served in the main house's dining room and guests are encouraged to make use of the lounge, library and bar. A shaded verandah, just outside, overlooks the plunge pool and garden.

Constantia Stables is well placed for exploring the Cape area, with Cape Town a twenty minute drive away by car. Favorite activities include hiking in the mountains or vineyards and day trips to the Cape Point Nature Reserve are all.  Just fifty minutes drive away are the famous winelands around Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
