Constantia Stables
Constantia Stables is a well run, pretty guest house just 15 minutes from the centre of Cape Town, South Africa. The stables are owned by Rick and Lola Bartlett who are your hosts during your stay and a mine of local information.
As the name suggests the bedrooms and main area are in a converted stable block, with a few cottages within the established garden. If the weather allows breakfast can be taken on the verandah which overlooks the small swimming pool. Alternatively there is a dining room inside as well as a small lounge area.
Hiking in the mountains or vineyards and day trips to the Cape Point Nature Reserve are all favourite pass-times and Cape Town and Stellenbosch are just 15 and 50 minutes away by car respectively.
