Djuma is in a private concession area of the Sabi Sands adjacent to the Kruger National Park in South Africa.
Djuma Vuyatela Camp consists of eight luxury suites, each with separate lounge and bedroom. Each chalet has en-suite facilities (as well as an outdoor shower) and air conditioning and a private plunge pool for the hotter times of the year. The main building has a fabulous verandah and birdwatching tower overlooking a permanent lagoon. Massages can be arranged.
Game viewing from Djuma Vuyatela is exceptional. There is no boundary between the private areas and the Kruger National Park, and game, including the Big 5 (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) is free to move in and out of the area. Game viewing with knowledgeable rangers takes place in both vehicles and on foot, and time is taken to enjoy the sights and sounds with the vehicle stopped and the engine off.
