Pafuri Camp
Pafuri Camp is located in the 59,305 acre Pafuri (also called the Makulele) estate in the northern area of the Kruger National Park, between the Luvuvhu and Limpopo Rivers. The camp consists of 20 large tented rooms with adjoining bathrooms which are well-separated along the banks of the Luvuvhu River. The central area at Pafuri Camp has a communal dining area, bar and two swimming pools. The main area is between tents 7 and 8, and it should be noted that there is a mile of boardwalk between tent 1 and tent 20. The game viewing is especially good in this area during the dry season, with large herds of buffalo and elephant resident most of the year. Both day and night game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles are available, as well as safari walks with a knowledgeable guide.
