Thonga Beach Lodge   
  
Thonga Beach Lodge enjoys a beautiful location on the Maputaland coast at Mabibi, KwaZulu-Natal. The lodge is only yards from the beach and just a 10 minute drive from Lake Sibiya, Southern Africa's largest freshwater lake, and part of the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site. There are 12 thatched bush suites that are well separated to ensure complete privacy. The rooms either face the dunes or have sea views, and they have been specially constructed to ensure minimum environmental impact. Meals at Thonga Beach Lodge are served either on the terrace facing the ocean or in the main thatched building. Activities available at Thonga Beach Lodge include scuba diving, snorkeling, guided canoe trips on Lake Sibiya, turtle tracking (November to January), swimming, guided wilderness walks, and fishing.
