Beho Beho
Beho Beho is the oldest safari camp in Southern Tanzania's huge Selous Game Reserve. It is very remote and overlooks a stunning valley dotted with riverine woodland and wildlife.
The eight rooms are beautifully decorated and all have the fourth wall missing to get the best possible view across the valley. The ensuite bathrooms are large and each room also has an outdoor shower. The main dining/lounge/bar area has a number of comfortable sitting areas, a small library of reference books and a huge snooker table. There is also a pool close by.
Game viewing at Beho Beho is by vehicle or on foot and the wildlife in this area of Selous is good with regular predator sightings in addition to typical African wildlife such as giraffe, elephant and zebra. Also on offer to clients staying for four nights or more, at an additional cost, is the opportunity to spend a night under canvas at the remote ‘Beho Beho Bush Night’ fly camp where guests eat under the African sky and sleep in stylish, yet simple tents.
