Surrounded by lush tropical flowers and trees, Gibb's Farm overlooks an old coffee plantation in the heart of the Great Rift Valley in Tanzania.  The terraced gardens have fantastic views towards the Great Rift Escarpment, and the lodge backs onto the forests of Ngorongoro Conservation Area. 

The colonial farmhouse has retained all its original character and charm and offers simple but comfortable accommodation in 19 rooms set among the gardens.  It has en-suite facilities and a dining room, which offers delicious simple fare, produced with home grown vegetables, and coffee. 

You can enjoy the prolific birdlife or walk up through the forest to a waterfall and elephant caves. Day trips on offer include visits to Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater.  Gibb's Farm is an excellent place to relax and enjoy your spectacular surroundings.
