Jongomero Camp is situated in Ruaha National Park, the largest National Park in Tanzania, where rare wildlife species, birds, fauna and the limited impact of tourism, sets it in a world of its own. The park is situated within and along the Rift Valley. Jongomero Camp offers guests the experience of intense isolation and wilderness.

The camp is situated under large Acacia trees in the secluded area of the south western sector of the park, along the Jongomeru Sand River. The camp offers top quality accommodation, comprising eight well-equipped tents, all with fully fitted adjoining bathrooms, tented dining area, and a swimming pool.

From your tent, you can set out to view at close quarters rare species of birds and animals to include lesser kudu, striped hyena, sable and roan antelope. Jongomero practices in remote, all day game drives, with guests enjoying hamper picnic breakfast and lunches en route. Locations for meals are in pre-selected sites, whether it be under acacia or magnificent baobab trees, or far-off spots overlooking the mighty Ruaha River. You can also drive out from Jongomero Camp to spend the night fly camping, sleeping out in the moonlight, or why not experience the sensation of getting closer to nature on a game walk.
