Oliver's Camp

Oliver's Camp has relocated several times during its long history but has now settled in one of the most amazing locations in northern Tanzania, inside the Tarangire National Park, in the heart of Masailand. Looking down over a flood plain of the Minyonyo Pools, part of the Tarangire River, the camp has a fabulous view and easy access to a dense mass of wildlife.  

The camp is a low impact facility, traditional in style, yet very substantial. The camp is small and friendly, and offers a wonderful personalised service. Accommodation at Oliver’s is in eight sleeping tents with solid wooden furniture, beautiful cloth and functional adjoining bathrooms. The drinks and library tents offer a relaxing respite after open vehicle or on-foot explorations out in the encompassing National Park.

Oliver's Camp can also arrange fly-camping, walking safaris and mobile camps. There is a high standard of guiding here, and a broad mix of mammals and birds that live in this area, open vehicle game viewing is excellent.
