Kasaka River Lodge

Kasaka River Lodge is set on the banks of the Zambezi River, in a private area only two miles from the Lower Zambezi National Park. This marvelous riverside location offers breathtaking views and there are regular sightings of hippo, buffalo, elephant and crocodile.

The lodge has eight luxury guest tents with adjoining bathrooms. Four of the tents are on the “Tame Side” of the camp, with manicured lawns, well-defined pathways and a pool area. The other four are on the 'Wild Side' of the camp and are connected by wooden walkways built above the lush vegetation and a maze of elephant trails. Families or small groups can book the “Hippo Pod” which offers additional spacious accommodations and makes for an exclusive and private safari experience. The secluded honeymoon suite is the last tent along the river's edge, well away from the main camp. The central bar and lounge deck area are nestled amongst huge tamarind trees and provide the ideal place to relax after a day in the bush.

Safari activities at Kasaka River Lodge include day and night game drives in the Lower Zambezi National Park, boat trips on the river, guided bush walks, and fishing. The lodge offers a range of activities suitable for children and is an ideal destination for a family safari.
