Kutandala
Kutandala is located on the banks of the Mwaleshi River in the heart of Zambia's North Luangwa National Park. This lovely camp accommodates only six people at a time and is the ultimate safari destination for those who want exclusivity in a truly remote wilderness area.
The rustic accommodation is beautifully built from local reed and thatch materials. Each of the ensuite rooms has wonderful views out over the Mwaleshi River. Rod and Guz Tether own and run the camp. Rod guides with great knowledge and passion for his surroundings, while Guz produces some of the most exquisite food of the highest quality.
The emphasis here is on walking, with morning and evening walks and all day trips. These may include tracking the endemic Cookson's wildebeest, elephant, lion or buffalo or recording some of 350 bird species found here.
