Nkwali

Nkwali occupies a lovely position alongside the South Luangwa National Park, surrounded by ebony groves, lagoons, and open grassland. At only forty-five minutes by road from the airstrip, Nkwali is an ideal place to begin a safari in Luangwa.

Nkwali is a Robin Pope Safaris' camp and offers a comfortable, exclusive camp accommodating just twelve guests. The rooms are built with woven bamboo and thatch with open-air bathrooms.

Access into the South Luangwa National Park is by pontoon boat and vehicle. The park has the greatest concentration of crocodile and hippo in Africa and is a good area for leopard and lion. Nkwali offers both day and night drives and walking safaris.
