The River Club is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River just 20 minutes upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls. The club faces west and has beautiful views across the river to the Zambezi National Park on the opposite side. Set in a tranquil and peaceful location amongst lush riverine vegetation, the well-designed buildings and thoughtful décor give the club a distinct Edwardian feel.

Accommodations are in ten double luxury thatched chalets with private bathroom facilities (including a full bath), and breathtaking views across the river. In the main house there is a dining room, a lounge with a small library and a bar area. The terrace around the swimming pool is the perfect place to relax and has a magnificent view of the river.

The River Club is not a game lodge but the Zambezi National Park is just across the river, and lion calls are regularly heard at night. The bird-watching here is excellent and hippos are regularly sighted along the river banks. Fishing is popular; with good tiger fishing in the warmer months. Excursions to the Victoria Falls and boating trips to islands in the Zambezi River are wonderful excursions from the club. Sundowner cruises and visits to the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park for white rhino and other game are offered daily. For an additional cost, the Victoria Falls area has opportunities for many other activities  including helicopter flights over the falls, white-water rafting, river surfing, rappelling, bungee jumping, parachuting, microlight flights, horseback riding, half day elephant back rides, clay pigeon shooting and canoeing.
