Sausage Tree Camp
Sausage Tree Camp is located alongside the Zambezi River in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. Accommodations at Sausage Tree Camp are in eight spacious, luxurious tents, spaced along the river bank and hidden from one another by sausage and mahogany trees. The tents are well-equipped with teak four poster beds and adjoining open-air bathrooms. Most meals are eaten outdoors, although there is a main dining tent. Activities available at Sausage Tree Camp include day and night game drives, safari walks, and canoeing trips. Hippo and elephant are regularly seen by the river, and buffalo, waterbuck, zebra, impala, bushbuck, and kudu are often spotted in the area. Lion, leopard and hyena are also present in good numbers.
