Sausage Tree Camp
Sausage Tree Camp is in the heart of Zambia's Lower Zambezi National Park on the banks of the Zambezi River.
The camp is made up of six large, luxurious tents, along the river bank, hidden from one another by mahogany and sausage trees. The tents are equipped with the essentials along with teak four poster beds and open air bathrooms. There is a main dining tent, although many meals are made outdoors.
While staying at the Sausage Tree you can take part in canoe trips, game drives both during the day and night as well as walks. During a stay in the Lower Zambezi guests have a good chance of seeing elephant, hippo, buffalo, waterbuck, zebra, impala, bushbuck and kudu. There are good numbers of lion, leopard and hyena in the area.
