Thorntree River Lodge

Thorntree River Lodge is delightfully located on the banks of the Zambezi River, ten miles upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls, within the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park.

Accommodations at the lodge consists of seven chalets with twin beds, one double chalet and one executive suite, all beautifully designed and built with stone and thatch. Thorntree River Lodge's chalets have adjoining bathrooms and a veranda with a breathtaking private view of the river. There is a central lounge and dining area, a small spa and a swimming pool with an open sundeck overlooking the Zambezi River.

Thorntree River Lodge occupies a unique riverside location within the National Park which allows for a wide choice of activities, including sundowner cruises, elephant back rides, fishing and game-drives in the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park. Cultural and museum visits in the local area and visits to the Victoria Falls can be arranged. Other activities such as helicopter flights, bungee jumps and white-water rafting can be booked locally for an additional charge.
