Chole Mjini

Chole Mjini is an owner run eco-friendly lodge located on the small and idyllic island of Chole, set in the clear waters of Chole Bay, at the centre of Mafia’s Marine Park.

The seven tree houses, all of which have been carved into baobab trees are wonderfully open, spacious with large double beds and offer fantastic views over the ocean. The lodge has been very carefully designed with everything being crafted from local materials.

Activities on offer include day excursions with picnics to the sand bank, diving, snorkelling, a day trip to the island’s capital of Kilondoni and half day walks around the palm plantations, the ancient ruins, and the village itself.
