Kinasi Lodge overlooks Chole Bay on Mafia Island, which is just south of the Spice Island of Zanzibar. The rooms have been built to blend into the old coconut and cashew plantation and the island is particularly popular with divers.

The 14 spacious cottages are comfortably furnished, each with private bathrooms, fans and mosquito nets over the beds. They also have a covered veranda which provides beautiful views across the bay and is furnished with a hammock, table and chairs.

Activities are individually organized each day for guests. Trips to see historical sites, villages, and picnic outings by road or boat can be arranged. The area is famous for fantastic diving, and other water sports are also available. Nature walks and bird-watching are good; guests wishing to simply relax can enjoy hours on the beach or by the pool.
